A serial killer is roaming the streets of Crystal Falls.

Heather Moody has spent seven years on the Crystal Falls Police Department in a quaint mountain town in North Carolina. She never expected to be made lead detective, tasked to investigate cold case murders that rocked their picturesque small town.
